Maybe parents could pay you for specific chores like cleaning
the garage, etc. Even an extra quarter adds up to dollars.

Otherwise, check with you neighbors. You could do various
things for some of the elderly folks in you neighborhood.
Raking leaves, cutting grass, walk dogs, or pet sit while
owners go for a day or two--are just some of the things
that come to mind.

Be creative. Find a need and fill it.
Good luck with your endeavor.

for a 13 year old you are very restricted, you can start working at a normal job when you are 16, and maybe 15. For a 13 year old you are limited to babysitting, doing chores for money, cutting peoples grass for money, i suggest $25 per lawn. If you are in a snowing climate, shovel driveways for $30 at winter. Your best bet would to wait untill christmas or your birthday, or just simply ask your parents/ grandparents.

I think you should maybe offer to rake leaves in your neighborhood, charge by the yard/hour or something. You could even do such things as sweep sidewalks, porches, front steps. There may even be a few elderly in your neighborhood that is looking for someone to do such things, maybe wash windows. Then you can earn money and help someone out.
Also, you may be able to babysit, depending on babysitting laws in your state. But i would only watch one at a time. These are fast cash getters for someone in your age group.

As dumb as it sounds, I had A LOT of success with treasuretrooper...

http://www.treasuretrooper.com/133356...

Basically I sat around spamming this URL on youtube videos repeatedly, and did surveys and signed up for offers, and ended up making like $1,000 in a couple of months. You have to be persistant though. Also, posting your referral url on other message boards, or myspace helps. This is my first check I got (never bothered taking a picture of my second, but it was like $500ish):

If you want to diversify there are other places like cashcrate that work pretty well, but I like treasuretrooper cause it's fun and, like I said, I got good results.

I'd appreciate it if you used my referral link above if you sign up, but regardless of whether you do or not I wish you good luck!!! There's still a lot of money to be made doing this, and I hope you have as much success as I did.

Ask your relatives if they will give you money if you do some chores around the house or coordinate a car wash on your street. Ask your friends for help.

I used to know a kid who went to Costco and bought a big box of candy bars and sell them for $1 each on the bus and in school.... won't work if your school sells them though.
