Talk to your mom and go to the doctor. I had a large lump removed and had no cancer. They only removed the lump. You might even just have a cyst that they can drain. It doesn't really hurt. get it done as soon as you can so you wont have to worry any longer

First off, don't panic until you have actually seen a Dr. I had a lump in my breast when I saw my doctor for an annual when I was 18. She made me another appointment to see her again in six weeks. Let me tell you, this was the most stressful 6 weeks of my life, but it just turned out to be a cyst. Try cutting back on your caffeine intake, if it is a cyst then it will possibly go away. Also, go see a Dr. anyway, if anything to at least put your mind at ease. If you are still in high school, it is very unlikely that this is cancer. Also, great job with early detection. Most girls your age don't do breast exams.

Lots of times it's nothing but you should really tell your mom to take you to the dr. It's nothing to play around with. You can be young and get breast cancer. Chances are it's nothing. One thing to remember as a woman, you will learn that all your shame goes out the window with dr.s! It starts with your yearly gyno exam and goes down hill from there! Wait till you have a baby!! Anyway, don't be embarrassed, it's all part of what we all have to deal with as women. Take care

you do not have cancer at your age, that would be something to write about in a medical journal. you can get all different types of lumps in your breasts and sometimes they do have to be removed if they are large or bothering you. go to the doctor if it makes you feel better, but trust me, it will not be cancerous

Go to the doctor right away. Its probably just a benign cyst (not cancer) but don't take any chances.

iT COULD BE A CYST. I HAD A LUMP AT A VERY YOUNG AGE AND IT WAS A CYST. YOU NEED TO HAVE A MAMMOGRAM. DONT MESS AROUND WITH ANY TYPE OF LUMP. I KNOW ITS HARD NOT TO WORRY BUT TRY TO STAY CALM JUST GET CHECKED.

The best thing to do is go to the doctor. Never guess, it is best to be safe, and get a qualified opinion, you won't get it here.
