I need to know the Similarities and Differences between Communism and Socialism, I posted a question like this earlier and got no real help. Can some1 be specific and list a bunch of similarities and differences between the two?!?

communism the state owns everything and is totally in control of everything. Socialism is you pay through the nose for taxes and the state takes care of everything. Good, Bad, or indifferent.

Socialism is like Communism-lite.
Skinheads hate Communism, they don't usually mind Socialism.
Communism has killed more people by stupid interperatation of it.
Socialism is liberal. Communism is conservative.
Communism is a political system. Socialism is an economic system.
Communists give a lot more lip service than Socialists.
Communists are more gung-ho about killing for their beliefs.

Isms are for people who can't describe their viewpoints. But that's just my opinion.

Communism: everything is state-owned. Everything is provided for the people. It is supposed to be a classless society.

Socialism: believes in social justice for all regardless of economic status. A mixed economy, public health care and education. Equal opportunities regardless of class. Encourages cooperation more than competition.
