I'm going camping this weekend. I can do it all except for the cell phone. I will keep the cell phone with me for safety reasons. The rest of it can be left behind.

Sure could. Just grab a change of clothes your tent your campstove and a lantern and head for the hills. Spend the weekend listening to a babbling stream instead of babbling electronics.

Yes. I was in an earthquake and didn't even have water fpr 13 hours. Then ate only once in 2 days. In fact, I think I'd enjoy "no plug in" as a vacation.
