Hypothetically, If I had a gun and you had a gun, would you shoot me? I
expect not! Other countries are deemed to arm themselves, just as a
warning to others, unfortunately past America records have shown that
you are quite eager/keen to "jump" in, hence, it has made people nervous,
so now you have to treat other countries that could pose a threat with, "kit
gloves".
Public should be asking questions and also getting answers, it's a shame that today's politicians seem to be wearing "blinkers and deaf ears",
and maybe then they would realize they are making hugh mistakes.
The biggest threat to the security of the United States of America, is
THEMSELVES.
Regards
Lain.

Our government.
The two major political parties spend way too much time pointing out each other's mistakes and short-comings,when they could be working together to address the issues that really matter.
If the Donkies and the Elephants could just bury the hatchet, and work towards a better tomorrow, then maybe something could be done about the sorry-@ss state that our country is in!

The appeasers and Bush haters that continue to dengrate him and our soldiers and want us to cut and run and not finish the job.
The ones that call our soldiers terrorists{john Kerry].
The ones that continue to leak information to the press about our actions.
The ones that call for civil rights and for the laws of the geneva convention for the terrorists.
The cowards that continually denegrate our country in foreign countries at a time of war-President CLinton and the Dixie Chicks
And I could go on.

5.) Area wide conspiratorial criminality.
6. ) Maybe this should be number one? Guys who act like nothing is going on and play along.
Hm. Executed journalist. The ministry of disinformation. Maybe that's who evaced Saddams' WMD's? Don't want to mess with anybody who can hit back, huh? Happy landings!

Directly or indirectly? Because of our geographical location, there aren't many countries that are very threatening directly. On the other hand, Iran is really indirectly threatening. If they attack Israel (which they want to), we will jump in to defend our allies. If Iran has nuclear capability when they attack Israel, it will lead to all kinds of problems. So Iran is probably the biggest threat.
