Im pretty sure it's just a holiday that the card and candy stores made up to make more money?

I was told that Sweetest day is the male version of Valentines day. My female friends give gifts to their male friends on Sweetest Day. So Valentines day is for females.

I don't know...I am never seeing anyone on those days and so I don't celebrate it. But, I agree, about stores making money on it...and every year they get richer!

Thats all it really is, another card holiday. The card industry had a big dead spot in the year where no one is really buying cards so they invented another card holiday.

The card companies have to keep thinking of new "days" so that they can sell more cards.
