Use heat for cramps. Try ThermoCare heat pads. You can get them at the drugstore and they really help. Make sure you get that brand because it works the best. The heat lasts for up to 8 hours and you don't have to be tied to an electric cord.

Heat. I am 13 and i get KILLER i mean killer cramps. The best thing is heating pad on high, sleep, midol, and sometimes a hot bath. Midol usually takes about a half hour to kick in so use a heatin pad until then. Sleep usuallly gets my mind off the pain too. Well tell her to hang in there and that they wont last forever

Heat is the best. The therma heat patches work wonders. Make sure she doesn't have cysts because the heat will make them burst. If it's just normal cramping from periods then definately use heat and lots of ibuprofen.

i buy those Thermoheat patches..i think thats what they are called...they are kind of like a big bandaid with a heating substance in it...at first they do get really hot, but if she has cramps like me that make her buckle over, this would work wonders...the first 2 days of my period are the worst and i wear one of those each day to work just to get me through the day...they are kind of bulky but if it relieves the pain, who cares about the bulkiness
