There are in fact 2 golf balls on the moon. They were hit there by Allan Shepard on Feb. 6, 1971 with a makeshift 6 iron
he sneaked onto the Apollo 14. His first couple of swings were duffs, bu then he launched the next ball 200-400 yards with one hand and in a space suit.

It's good he did it then. Now they probably wouldn't let him take the 6 iron through airport security.

I believe the balls are still up there although they are probably being shined up and sold on the first tee by some lunar ball boys by now.

You have caused me to be amazed what is on this web.
I searched "golf on the moon" and actually got lots of sites.

When walking on the moon, astronaut Alan Sheppard hit a golf ball that went 2,400 feet, nearly one-half a mile.

I think some astronauts did actually play golf on the moon. I have seen a video, but aint sure how many they left up there.

Theres 5, 2 in the bunkers, 1 in the ruff, 1 in the water feature and I think the last one is stuck in the crazy golf windmill!!!!

I cant think of a good enough answer because I am overwhelmed with the funnyness of this question, possibly the best question ever asked!!!!

i believe the answer is none as any ball hit would disappear into far reaches of space due to lack of gravity.
