Dear,

U know a SCAPE GOAT. The butcher never brings it up with a view 2 feel proud of it but with a view 2 enjoy its meat.

Just understand this simple logic. The same thing happened 2 taliban previously. Taliban is a creation of usa against russia.

Never expect India 2 become uncle sam's pet dog that's y Bush named his dog after India as it is a dream for him.

We should place the matters in proper perspective. During the Russian occupation the same Taliban was a US ally. Osma Bin Laden was their hero. After Soviet Russin left Afghanistan USA thought that it has done its job. In driving away Russia it was not the benefit of Afghanistan that was the US motive. It was a Cold War stragy. USA left the scene. Afghanisatan was left high and dry. With all their religiosity the Taliban never interfered with the religious practices of other communities in the country. They only wanted them to identify themselves(because both Muslims and others were dressed alike) so that they were not mistakenly harrassed by them. TV was not allowed to Afghans Muslims but others were free to accept it. The so-called burkha compulsion lso existed in news reports. Certain American women's associations had made investigations on siite about this and they have certified that many edcated Afghan women did not were purdah. It is noteworhy that the Taliban never defiled any place of worship or interfered with Hindu/Sikh pracices. The only exception if the demolition of the Bamian buddhas. That can be understood as the deed of some extremists among them. However, on account of paucity of means with Afghanistan the Taliban could not make any progress. USA should really have helped them after evacuation by the Soviet--some Marshall Plan. Perhaps the sc enue now would have been quite different. As they were left in the lurch the anger of the Taliban turned inwards and they becaise tyrants. In no time this affected American interests as this spread outside.Osama Bin Laden became the leader of this unrest.Even then he has been painteed blacker than he perhaps really is. USA itself has admitted now that he had nothing to do with 9/11 nor with Saddam Hussein. Perhaps the unrest has gone out of even Osama's hands and has not become a free-for-all.

Pakistan helped Taliban during the Russian occupation at the best of USA and just because USA now considered them as their enemy Pakistan had to turn its cap. It is all right that offfficially it has done it but everybody nows including the USA that their real sympathy lies with Taliban. To keep Pakistan on its side this F-16s etc. are bribes it is now paying to it.

India should not be nervous as when all is said and done India is stronger than Pakistan and take it on if necessary.Regarding the matters atomic USA has not reconsiled to the status of India as an atomic power and offered to cooperate with it but not with Pakistan even if it begged for it. We must read between the line;s.
We should not be misguided by media propoganda but look at the matters in the proper perspective.

If you analytically go through our History then you will find out that Russia was never ever a friend of India as someone have mentioned earlier in this question. And so far your question is concerned, I would only like to say that the wrong doers will have to pay for there deeds sooner or later so don't feel sad. Don't forget that Russia was once a super power and what is it now.

Russia has always been a true friend to India, but US has never been a true friend to India. US wants India and Pak to accept it's superiority and it knows that Pak would accept only if it helps Pak in some way and India has always been a peaceful country

US wants its arms industry thrive well, by increasing tensions in the subcontinent. It is using Pakistan directly and Taliban indirectly to increase tensions globally. This is the main reason for the US to help Pakistan more and more when compared to its realtions with India

Us needs Musharaf Govt's help in their quest of terrorists.Musharaf can't discount either the US or Taliban for his own survival. Moreover India can't be of much help to the US in this aspect..
India will be harmless even as an enemy.
