It really helps if you can practice on stage alone before doing it in front of people. I don't know if there is sometime when the place is pretty empty, but that would be a good time to do what you are gonna do and get a lot of the butterflies out, that way when your classmates are all there you won't feel as nervous - you can think back to the practice time you had. That's what helps me anyway.

practice singing alone first, then sing for people you are comfortable with.(family,friends). when it come time to sing onstage have a good friend there to support you. Then pick a spot above peoples heads and belt it out.

A solo will test your nerve. Practice at home.
Butterflies are normal, practice relaxation techniques like breathing easily and imagining your shoulder muscles turning to jello.

in my school we all sing as a group and the teacher walks around and grades us when she comes past. i sing when she comes around and stop singing when she leaves. ask your teacher if you can do something like that.

practice at homw and the da you have to sing just sing like you did when nobody was looking, if you are extra confident and just dont care what they say for that moment you will do fine...that is what i do

dont be afraid.... i used to andiam still a bad singer but i sing for comedy and for laughs around frieinds but if you love to sing try yuor hardest at it and go for it people love a girl/boy

get up there do the best you can...cause you know what even if you can't sing, kudos to you for trying cause alot of people would not even try....good luck
