46 is too old - if you do get pregnant and have a baby - when the child is 13 you'll be 60, too old to keep up with a demanding teenager.
People of your age are past childbirth - the UK should bring in laws to protect children from old parents.
Parents who might be too ill to be fully involved in the child's life or parents who might die before the child reaches adulthood.

I am 46 and I have just found out that I am now 7 weeks pregnant. And totally naturally. I already have two children aged 15 and 16, but the positive result really shocked me, I was not really planning for this, did not think it would really happen. Nevertheless, I am happy about it and look forward to having a third child. And my partner and I had only been together for 2 months. Sounds foolish doesnt it. Oh well. I treasure this life inside me so much. And apparently, women of my age are more likely to have twins (nature having a last hurray? LOL).
I live on the coast in south England.

My Grandma had my auntie when she was 47, she was a bit of a surprise, but everything went ok.
Good luck trying and take no notice of thebigtom, as long as you're healthy then you should be able to have a baby at any age!
I'm 34 and been TTC for 18 months so perhaps we could both do with a bit of good luck x

Not me because I am only 28. But 2 of my aunts did. They got pregnant during their menopause time and they each have wonderful child. One had a girl who is now 12 and the other a boy who is now 8. All naturally.

My aunt had twins (naturally) at 50. She is an awesome mom, any kid would be lucky to have her.
