i have heard and seen the ways men propose to wemen at fancy restraunts or whatever and i dont want to be a normal husband so i dont want to start it out with a normal proposal
any ideas?

Purchase a very special Christmas ornament (crystal etc..) Attach the engagement ring to it and ask her to hang it on the tree you are decorating or to find the hidden surprise etc...
She will be able to use that ornament every year and remember the special proposal.
It's not flamboyant but it is definitely a tradition to remember and also makes the ornament an heirloom to pass down to your daughters.

I am from Florida and I had just moved to Washington State. My now husband took me to see snow for the very first time. I played in the snow, just like most children do. I built my very first snowman, made snowballs, etc. At the very end of the day, my now husband started talking about how beautiful the area was, but that he would much rather have me by his side than all the snow and mountains. Then he asked me to marry him. Shocked I said yes. We just got celebrated our 1 month wedding anniversary. Good luck and I hope this helped at all.

one would be at sea world, and during the shamu show, if you talk to some workers, they could put it on t.v, and it will have the words at the bottom and stuff; that would be really sweet;
or go to a really really fancy restaurant, and have the box on her plate when she goes to the bathroom, or have a waiter come with those big silver plates with the bowl ontop, and have him open it, and there will be the velvet box with the ring; that's really romantic.

Well, i have a friend who got proposed to with baseballs he gave her one and said strike 1 and gave her a clue of what to do or where to go then found another that said strike 2 and lead her to another clue then she got strike 3 which was the proposal. i thought it was very cute and i remeber it and it didnt even happen to me!!

Get a build a bear made for her and have it made with a velcro closure at the tummy so you can hide the ring inside.

go to a fancy restaurant and order a piece of pie or cake or something after dinner and let her eat the piece with the ring in it.

You can do a scavenger hunt. You can plan a gondola ride (if you have that in your city) and pre-plan a message in a bottle for her to find. Take her on a hike or picnic. Do it when she least expects it!

the thing is .......girls like a romantic proposal......if you want to be different dont take the romance away.....maybe a nice picnic with the ring hidden in a glass of champagne......good luck

get a commercial plane and put on the tail will you marry me while flying. or go to hockey game or any game that has big screen and ask to show this message on the screen at intermission. goodluck!
