I work 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. During my off time there this big fat dude that works my position. Everytime I come back to work my chair smells like a gas station bathroom. What is the best way to clean a fabric office chair without having to sit on a wet chair for the rest of the day?

Try Febreze, and also sprinkle with baking soda, let sit, then vacuum. In future, place a cover over the chair, then clean the cover, and have a spare to use when fatso is there. That should take care of it.

Buy your own chair, keep it in the closet. You can get one for about $40. Worth every penny for piece of mind. Say that you need to keep readjusting the chair so you decided to buy your own. His dirty behind is causing that smell. He must be too fat to wipe well. You know e coli bacteria is transfering to your bottom and to your car seats and into your home.

put some big nails in the chair after u clean it but just before u leave.

room fresheners work or you can try to get the guy fired or you can buy your own chair or tell the guy the chair is haunted or tell the guy to take a shower and wash his butt. take your pick.

i say before you go home at night sprinkle it with baking soda then sweep it off the next day then try the febreeze thing
