In most states a G.E.D. is the equivalent of a high school diploma. If there is a good reason why you couldnt finish your high school diploma, and then you went to do a GED and did a great job, most colleges will take a look at you. You dont have to think only about Community Colleges, but I think you SHOULD take a look at them They are cheap, they do a good job, they are oriented toward part time, weekend, and evening students. And in most states they have a deal with a state university so that when you finish two years at the CC you can go straight on to the state university and transfer all your credits...

No one needs to be ashamed of a GED. You have opened the door to higher education. Go for it!

If I am not mistaken you may even get a scholarship for your GED high score. But anyway is make a list of College ideas. Than right your major down next to it. Get in touch with their administration to them that you are a prospective student and you would like them to send you some enrollment information. All colleges have the same enrollment process and they usually send you a card if you have any questions about academics. Sorry I do not live in NY but I hope that was some help.

certainly, to have achieved "generic" at college and "close to suited" on the SATs skill which you have somewhat some potentional and which you probably did no longer do besides as you have at college. they could evaluate that lazy, and that's no longer unavoidably what a snooty college is calling for.
