Well, there must be one thing.
We fly safer! - Oops, no we don't. While looking for box knives and lighters, we overlooked liquids being mixed into bombs.
Our food is safer! - Darn, wrong on that one. We're so busy with terrorists in Iraq, we can't afford food inspections.
Our borders are secure! - Well yes, we are working on keeping out the Mexicans who plotted to bring down our country. By the way, it was the Mexicans, right?
We can sustain our own energy needs! - You betcha we can. We'll just shift to a South American country. Hey, South American is American right? Isn't Venezuela part of Texas? Not yet?
Our economy is strong and robust! - Those "Made in China" labels on all of Wal-Marts products are just a Democratic Party conspiracy, right? Oops, wrong again.
The Iraqis love us! - One more oops. The welcome mat melted in the last attack, and the only thing they would "love" to do, would be to show us the door.
We haven't been hit since September 11, 2001! - We never were hit before that date either. It only happened on one administrations watch. "Strike while the enemy is asleep" has been a tactic of every army in the worlds history. It seems to work...
Sorry, I was wrong. I tried, but I can't come up with even one example. I do hope there is an answer out there...

Bush has wisely decided that if he kills every none American, then there will be no external threat. Then he only has to worry about the Oklahoma bomber, Unibomber wannabees, Waco-christians, kids who take guns to school, and the NY Yankees baseball team (close to the bone, that last one!)
For the benefit of the answerer above me, the Anthrax came from your own Anthrax supplies (different strand to that sold to Saddam), and was sent by your own military. A scare that went pear-shaped.

Fact: There have been plenty of attacks on the U.S.A. since 9-11.
Anthrax Murders.
Greyhound hijackings by "middle eatern looking men" at knifepoint that went hush hush.
Airplane flown into B of A. in Florida, the person left a note saying he was doing it for the same reason.
Power - gas-oil plants mysteriously blown up and credit being taken on the same websites that arab resistance use. And of course the hush up after initial local media reports.

I find it mind-numbing that you are even asking this question. I imagine that if a democrat gets into office they will stop the war on terror and completely stop looking into foreign people in this country that seem suspicious. And after years of that (a-hem, Clinton) - we will see something that will make 9-11 look like nothing. Does that answer your question?

Fact:
There has NOT been an attack on American soil since 9-11, and in fact, many have been foiled. These include the subway plots, the one where planes were supposed to blow up, and shoe bombers, as well as others.
