Ok, Consider the following chenical equation
2NO2 ---> N2O4

If 25.0mL of No2 gas is completely converted to N2O4 gas under the same conditions, what volume will the N2O4 occupy?

This is a LeChatlier principle question. From the equation we see that 2 moles on the left = 1 mole on the right. Since this is an ideal gas the change in moles will be equivalent to the change in volume. If all the gas is converted then there will be 1/2 as much volume since it is in a 1 to 2 mole ratio.

Answer: 12.5 mL

Since 1 mole of N2O4 is produced per 2 moles of NO2, the volume will be half that of the NO2

Gay-Lussac's Law: volume ratio equals mole ratio.
So the volume is halved.
