Why has the rest of the world caught up and beat America in sports we once dominated?

i think that playing together as a team is an important factor since many teams put together by the usa are superstars that dont normally play together....i think if they make the nba champions play the international tournaments the usa will be very dominant...they can make other star players play the spots for the foreign players on the team

More and more NBA players are coming from other countries such as Tony Parker, Yao Ming, Manu Ginobili, Pau Gasol and so on I can keep going forever and some tend to think that Americans dont care about world sports but its just that players have gotton better around the world since we always want to draft em for american teams

It starts when kids are young with the fascination with And1 and the NBA. Coaches need to get back to stressing the fundamentals, most of today's players don't even have a basic mid range game. They either go to rack or they pull up a long jumper.They rest of the world is winning with team ball are guys are still trying to do it one on one.

america enters international play cocky and arrogant, as though they already have the W. while we were sleepin' on our 3 million dollar beds (not me of course), players globally have been gearing up, prepping for a chance to beat us. and now, its almost a walk in the park at times. look at the world cup this year. then team usa basketball getting killed in the worlds. all it took was team basketball and a few pick & rolls.
countries play w/ unification, whereas he highlite that one player on the team that will do everything and is everything. the worlds deserve much credit for kicking our @$$ in every sport. just would like to see them play us in football. AMERICAN FOOTBALL!
