The place is called Area 51. I don't know if it is the official name. The area is located more than 100 miles from Las Vegas, NV.
On our last trip to Vegas, my husband and I went to Area 51, as per the direction available on the Internet. The drive was beautiful. We took a side road from the Extraterrestrial highway and went about 12-15 miles when we saw the sign saying that "US Military Installation, You can't go any further, No Photograph's allowed and so and so. We also saw a Chevy truck ,on top of a Hill,watching the restricted entrance while we were there.
I can tell for sure that some kind of military facility is there. I don't believe in the extraterrestrial image of that area though.

I am sure there is an area 61, but the famous one, aliens and all that is 51, its just part of the Nevada desert. Its very boring to look at as your driving past, just sand and Joshua trees. Oh, I think you can see a wind farm in the distance!!! Its all fenced off but only with high chicken wire looking stuff so you can see, I am sure if you tried to penetrate it though, you would the full might of the us armed forces on your back.

Its area 51 its out in the Nevada dessert.
For years the US gov denied there was such a place, now its on all the maps.

It is called area 51 and you are never gonna believe this but as I tried to type this in my screen went blank got it back and tried again the screen expired and re did it so third time lucky.
Hey they do not want us talking about area 51 that is so spookey it is in navada i think but yes there is such a place and they dont want us to talk sheeeeeee

Area 51 is part of a test area for the US Air Force. It is found in South Nevada.

area 51 outside of roswell new mexico. it is a huge (in size) government site. (the extra terrestrial highway runs around it) people debate what it's for, hiding aliens, government run top secret tests etc. but no one knows because no one can get close to it. there's a perimeter that runs around it thats pretty far from the actual site so you can't even see anything. and it's heavily guarded. the "men in black" don't mess around and will threaten you if you get too close. on satellite photos, a lot of the area is blacked out. really, some people don't want civilians knowing what goes on there.

How did you discover Area 61? It's so top secret that it's not even mentioned by American intelligence services.
