Washing oily skin too frequently can have exactly the opposite effect of what you want. It can lead to even more breakouts. Find a gentle cleansing product meant for oily skin. Out of everything that I have used I have found that Clinique works the best. Their facial soap and astringent are wonderful. Also keep oil blotting cloths on you if you can. These are made for quick pick me ups during the day. You can use them to blot excess oil off of your problem areas (usually the T-zone...nose and middle of the forehead.) You can get those anywhere that sells make-up. They keep your skin from looking less shiny. Drink plenty of water and eat a healthy diet also.

Select skincare products for oily skin - including cleanser, toner and moisturiser.

Use oil-free foundation at all times and loose powder. (MAC has a great product called Blot Powder that works very well for me)

Instead of using a tissue, opt for a blotting paper from MAC or Clean and Clear which will lift off excessive oil without taking away the make up applied.

Oil-free foundations such as Neutrogena, followed by a compressed powder. Keep the powder in your purse along with some rice paper pads (sold in the makeup section) to freshen up during the day.
By the way, any products you are using to dry out your skin, such as regular soap or toner containing alcohol will only increase oil production in your skin. Use skin-balancing products that neither dry out or over moisturize your skin.

first of all, make sure you have a three step facial cleansing routine that follow atleast twice a day. that is cleanse, tone, moisturize. those tree steps are vital for keeping skin cleanand radiant.also, i would recomand using garnier products. specifically garnier pure. that line is specifaically for oily, acne prne skin. don't worry, using these tips your skin will feel fresh and beautiful.

you can change your soap or your lotion to a lotion that absorbs more into the skin and a soap that removes more of the dirt and oil. Also chemicals in many products mess with the ph balance of your body so it may be a diet change that is nessary.

Just get a soap that washes your face and wash your face with it every time you take a hot shower.
