Nothing can touch Shalimar on Jones Street in S.F. Absolutely nothing!!!! I've been to Fremont, London all over...Shalimar is inexpensive and by far the best Tandoori food in the U.S.A. India Oven has the best decor. Best for extra-menu stuff. But is expensive. These two take the cake. Or cakes, as the case may be.

Indian dishes are so many and so varied that you cannot dine in a dozen restaurants and still claim that you have tasted Indian Food. Each taste is an experience in itself. well if u want to taste the real indian food u dont need to go to CA,USA u just need to drive 30-50km from Delhi to Chandighar there is a palce name Murthal u can go to any hotel there and the indian food u get there u will u will not get in the whole world.....

i live in new york so i can't tell u . but the best restaurunt to party in is Bombay palace. im from india aslo. even though im in the Usa right now.

then i moved, and there is only one restaurant here, and it sucks, and its too expensive because they have no competition so i started making it at home
