I got about 20 buddies going tomorrow.

Should they leave Iraq? Well, we don't know enough of the big picture to make that call at our level. Things are probably alot more complicated or fragile than most people realize.

I dont think that we can just leave in such a haste but I do think that its time to think of an exit strategy. Our own soldiers only get 6 weeks of basic training and then they are done. I think that the Iraqi soldiers should be fully trained by now.

We should withdraw from the Iraq only if we withdraw completely from the middle east, including our support of Israel. Then we can stand back and watch them murder and rape children and suicide bomb themselves into pre-history.

they shouldn't have been there in the first place! Just like Vietnam the US will withdraw from Iraq, and just like Vietnam, it will learn nothing from the war.

We need to define the criteria for Iraq's preparedness. Once that criteria is met, then we can withdraw.

I guess this means we're going to be there for the long run.

No. You started it , you finish it!

But then are they bothered. As stated in Farenheit 9-11, none of their sons are there.

Agnostic i think of we ought to continually loudly pull out in the present day, on the same time as privately asking the Iraqi government to publicly ask for information. Then we ought to continually enable some troops to stay with a mixed U.N. tension under joint U.N./ Iraqi management to "help" in policing. the super benefit could be that the U.S. could no longer be pointed out because of fact the only, or conventional skill influencing the area inspite of the nearby government: extremely, we'd be helping a joint operation under nominal Iraqi management.

It's not quite that easy, but I think they should withdraw in a safe manner.
