hi i'm doing a power point presentation for my spaish class

does anyone know how to put in accents over the spanish letters??

Err.. this may sound very confussing but you have to try out (USING THE NUMBER PAD!)
e.g.
ALT + 137 = ë
ALT + 138 = è

Try using the character map.
Click Start
Click Programs
Click Accessories
Click System Tools
Click Character Map.
Use Arial or Times New Roman

Hold ctrl, then type ' and whatever letter you want accented. You can also use ~ or ` to accent letters in the same way. Just be sure not to release the ctrl button till after you type the letter.

Shadow has a good suggestion...I used to have a list of the combo's for each character, but have lost it some time ago.

You can also try "Insert", then "Symbol", and PPT will bring up a list of various fonts that use different characters.

While using any text editor you can go to start, run, type charmap and the copy and paste the characters you need to use. If you remember the codes you can then use the kbd shortcuts.

it depends.
Do you have a apple computer. You press Ctrl e then a voul.
PC-there is a button at the corrner of your keyboard that looks like a accent mark and you press CTRL and that key then a voul

You're taking a class on SPANISH, but you can't even SPELL it right? I think taking a SPANISH class is the least of your worries.
