If everything weighs in about the same, you should probably stay where you are, especially if you're in a local-type restaurant where you have a lot of "regulars" who know you, like you, look forward to being served by you! If on the other hand, we're talking about 2 "chain" restaurants at an interstate exit, then your guess is as good as mine. But the bottom line, I think in girls making a good living waitressing, is to cultivate that corps of "regulars" who will eat at that restaurant more than they would otherwise, tip you a little better than they might "just anybody," etc. . . . just because you're you!

You did the math already. pros and cons you said are about the same The only difference is that you know exactly what you got now, if is not going to be an improvement in your income or working conditions or both...why take the chance?

First ask your self this question. How am I being treated at my current job. Do they pay me well? Second can I trust the new boss to be fair? Or will he pull me away for my job then seek to fire me at the first chance.

I live by the saying "do what you like or like what you do". There is no reason to stay with a job or employer that you don't like and every reason to stay where you do like and make the best of it.
