Does the premium xbox 360 need a memory like the last gen or is the memory card only needed for the core 360?

Only for the Core 360. The Premium Xbox 360 has a 20GB hard drive that you can use for saving games. You would need a memory card only to take saves from one console to another.

The memory card is needed for the core because their is no hard drive. But if you want to transfer your saved games to another console you would need a memory for bot the premium and core packages.

no it uses the hard drive....like the old one did too...
