I have 2 really old computers. 1 has a Pentuim 2 Processor and a lot of space on the hard drive and the other 1 has a Pentium 3 Processor but has no Space on the hard drive. I got a new game and I only have enough space on the Computer with the Pentium 2 Processor but the game requires a Pentium 3. Can I change the hard drive from 1 to the other and then chabge them back?

you dont have to change them out. all you have to do is add the other one as a slave hard drive. open up the p3 pc if the hard drive is by itself on the ide cable all you have to do is set the jumper on the other hard drive to slave. if you dont know what a jumper is look at the hard drive with the connections facing you. you see the smallest set of pins with a little plastic piece on them. thats it. if you look at the label on your hard drive it will tell you where to place that plastic piece to make it a slave. once you set that just hook it up turn on the pc and you should be good to go. it will show up as another drive letter in my computer. good luck

Why not just move you files (Word, Excel, JPeg, AVI, etc) over to the P2? I'm assuming that you already have the 2 PC networked together.

yea you can but make sure you dont mess up the O.S on both the hard drives or you may have to install windows again on both

put the second drive in as a slave drive, ( so you are not booting off of it) so you don't kill your o/s
and you won't have a problem.
( don;t forget the jumpers)
