can anybody tell me what i can do to gety my 1974 scout running cant figure it out?

i put new wires, plugs, condencer for some reason cant get it started if theres is anybody that can give me some ideas please let me know

reset the points gap and check for grounded wire, then have someone hold the coil wire while you turn it over to check for spark :)

did you replace the points, check for fuel at the carburetor, check for spark ( use a screw driver by inserting it at the spark plug end then use the shaft of the screw driver close to a metal part but not touching it 1/8 inch away then have someone turn the engine over, you should see a arc of electricity )
