my boyfriend's birthday?

I want to get my boyfriend tickets to a Colts' game for his birthday. I began looking but I can't really afford the tickets that are available. I could afford to get just one. My question is would this make him just as happy to get to go alone. I think as long as he could go he wouldn't care to go alone but I am not sure.....

I would think more guys would not want to go to the game alone but thats just my general opinion.
