I'm 34 and I still sleep with a old hot water bottle cover called bundy (hes a rabbit) The hot water bottle sprung a leak a long time ago so it has my original "woobie" inside it which is an old pyjama top that belonged to my older sister. Its a silky material and I used to like the feel of it when I was little and I was convinced it had healing powers! If I had a headache I would put it on my head! Problem in now my daughter keeps trying to steal bundy off me at night if she comes into my bed. The healing powers of the old pj top work on her too! Everyone should have a woobie or noonoo or whatever you want to call them! LOL
Bundy is well travelled he has been to Mexico, Bahamas, many places in Europe and he sends postcards to biscuit ted (my friends old teddy bear who has a face the colour of a digestive biscuit!) Go for it comfort blankets are great!

Someone knitted me a Noddy when I was 4. He went everywhere with me. Over the years, while Ive been busy bringing up a family he has been put away in a drawer or in a cupboard, but he's never far away. Even now if I hold him he makes me feel warm and secure. God I am sad! I'm nearly 50! But I'm sure there is other poeple out there the same as me. So its not a bad thing. If it feels good do it!!

Course its ok. I have an old skirt from when I was kid, it has a label on it that I like to rub and its comforting. Don't know why I like but I do. I didn't use it for years then I found it a couple of years ago (I'm 24). I don't use it in public so I can't see what the problem is. My boyfriend just laughs at me!

My best friend since 4th grade has had the same security blanket the entire time I've known her. She's had it since she was a baby. Anytime that she has to stay overnight somewhere, that blanket gets packed and brought along for the journey. She only sleeps with it, though, she doesn't carry it everywhere.
A friend of mine since 2nd grade still sleeps with the teddy bear she has had since birth.
We're all 19.

I have to say that i find it a little immature. My daughter knew a young woman, early 20's, who even though she had a small child of her own still carried a disgusting little raggy thing and sucked her thumb. If i met a guy and he slept with a 'cuddly' i wouldnt want a relationship with him! Still a comfort blanket is better than booze/fags/drugs i suppose.

not really a good look for a teenager or an adult, a bit wet if you ask me, I am a mother to two teenage boys and they never used a blanket nor dummies, they are not really required at all if you don't give the baby one they certainly don't miss it, dummies and wet sooked blankets look horrible sticking out of mouths and so unhygienic too,Dummies are used by bad parents who want the child to shut up.......
