I have the cramps from hell for the past 30 minutes. I've been crying, praying, and crying some more. I took two of my usual BC Powders. I've ran to the bathroom about 5 times but nothing has come out. I have never had them quite as bad as today. I feel slightly better and needed to take my mind off of it. When i lay down it hurts even worst so now i am sitting up.

I really need some relief right now and i took two packs of aspirin and I don't know what else to do to relieve my cramps. It feels like a huge Tiger has all of his teeth sunk into my stomach right now and is just holding his teeth in the same spot not letting me go and every once in a while bitting down tighter and harder.

I need any suggestions that would help ease my pain. Please girls.

Thank You sooo much. Anything would help me at this point I think.

At your age this is normal; most of us have worse cramps in our teens than later on. Mine got much better after taking birth control, but still every month on the first day it's just awful....

Just be patient, and the painkillers will kick in soon. Aleve works great for cramps, I found.

Also a heating pad is great! If you don't have one, try taking a hot bath. Heat relaxes your muscles, as does massage. Cramps are your muscles "freaking out" so anything that calms the muscles in the abdominal area will help ease the pain. Good luck, sister.

If you have a heating pad, you might try using that, or a towel wetted with hot water.

If they are that significantly worse than normal and causing you to cry, I think you need to see a doctor, today. Go to urgent care or ER if you can't reach your doc.

When I have had bad ones they have given me muscle relaxants, those are non-narcotic and usually help some. I also find that Advil (ibuprofen) works best on cramps, better than aspirin or BC.

But bottom line, yeah, I think you should go get seen if it's that bad.

Try applying heat and DO NOT curl up into a ball. As much as you might want to, curling up will keep those stomach muscles tense and make it hurt more. Stretch out on your back or on your stomach with a heating pad, hot water bottle or whatever and try to relax. If they don't ease up at all in the next few hours, go to the doctor. It could be something more serious.

Stop the asprin,,,, people don't realize YOU CAN overdose on it.
Is it constipation? ( Drink a FULL glass of prune juice (YUK) but it works) Are you near your period? Try a hot water bottle and some advil for any swelling inside. Ever been checked for deverticulitis? Some symptoms include tremendous bloating and severe painYou should consider going to emergency if you have no relief in the next hour or 2.

Put a pillow or two under your hips and lie on your back. Apply heat to your belly, like a heating pad or hot water bottle. Tensing up will only make the pain worse. If one of your parents has a light tranquilizer or sleeping tablet, take half of one.

try walking around. if it is part of an oncoming period, that will get your blood flowing more easily to the cramping part. cramps are ususally an effect og the muscle tightening so you could also try a heating pad, or take a hot bath. Good luck!
p.s. drink lots of water, it could help.
