I got this off "The Crucible"; but which would you have done if you were in John Proctor's place? He had a choice, to live and take care of his wife and new baby on the way and have his name nailed to the front of the church for harvesting the devil within, or die with the pride of his name (which he said was the only thing he had that he truly owned) (By the way, if you haven't seen the movie, it took place in the 1600's so this is why it sounds dumb...)

I don't feel that a community has the right to know my personal business. So I wouldn't have wanted to keep any situation I'm in a secret. That's what makes it so tantalizing. What I would do is avoid a situation that I know would cause conflict.
