Assuming you are old enough, just relax and be yourself. It wouldn't be wrong to tell him you haven't done it before. If he's a decent guy, he will be very sweet and probably think it's kinda cute. If you don't want to do that, just press your lips next to his and don't try anything you've seen in the movies. Don't try to be something you aren't. The simpler, the better. You know what they say, "less is more." Good luck. P.S. When you look back, you will realize it's nothing to worry over.

I say wait. If you have to ask, you're not ready. Then again, it's nice to think of what you would like to do or have done. Observe the situation enough that you aren't completely nervous.
There are lots of pointers you can read up on as far as technique goes, but you first have to feel your natural ability. Hesitation is directly relational to your application.

Do you really know this guy? He might want to go to far and he could hurt you. I'm sorry to be so dramatic but you never know these days what a person is going to do. Listen to your instincts. You'll know how. If you are asking this question you might be to young to be doing this anyway.

It's really just kissing. If he's more experienced, let him take the lead. Start with your lips closed, and just a little pressure. If he parts his lips, part yours too. Don't jam your tongue into his mouth; it should be used more teasingly (touch the tip of his with yours, run it along his bottom lip a bit... just don't try to count his teeth with it!) If one of you knows what they're doing, it should all happen pretty naturally.
