Wrestling i the most fake thing ever, does anyone actually think wresling is real?

The reason i posted it is b/c some of the guys at my work swear that wrestling is %100 real.

Not all of it is fake, yes they may have storylines planned out. They may plan out the match to who is going to win. They may practice the match before hand.Sometimes they may make it look like someone gets hurt but usually it's because they have a storyline planned out with it. But people can get hurt in the wrestling business for real. It isn't all fake, you can't fake getting hurt. If all of wrestling was fake they wouldn't ever get hurt.

Just saying wrestling is fake shows how limited a mind one has and the total lack of ability to form any kind of meaningful opinion.

Why are they so huge and need muscles or in the old days... extensive padding? The shock from the impacts on the body are very real. They may be trained as entertaining stuntmen, but injuries, mishaps, broken necks do happen. So they have to be big and relatively rugid to take it all.
How long has this industry been a round? Longer than any of us has been alive...... will it continue to be around long after we are dead? YES! In some shape or form, it will be around because as long as we are human we love to see grown men beat the hell out of each other. It is a gladitorial thing we dig.
Has Vince McMahon made a mockery of a long and illustorious industry with an extensive history? Yes and no... it needed to be brought into the 21st century, updated, and modified. But Vince shouldn't be the only show in town. That's why I hope TNA stays for a long time
Is wrestling fake? It is a scripted entertainment that requires athletic ability and fortitude to compete in. Calling it fake trivalizes the industry, the people who put their bodies on the line, and the sacrifices they make.

Almost everybody knows to some extent wrestling is fake. What do people like you gain from constantly reminding that it is fake to those who already know that it is fake?

The punches and kicks are fake but the chair shots and getting put through tables etc. are real. My friend went to try out for WWE and they put him in a hardcore match and said the chair shot was real too bad he didnt make it....
