You can't really hate the person if you don't know them, you are just hating whatever aspect of them it is that bothers you about them. Its also likely that this aspect is something you hate in yourself.

i don't "hate" anyone. i'm a lover not a fighter. but i think it's possible to strongly dislike someone and not agree with there views or choice (terrorists, robbers, george bush, etc.) whether you've met them or not.
