Do like I did today, confront them!! I walked through an enormous web and watched a spider over 1inch in size walk accross my face. I'm not normally concerned about spiders but that did bother me, needless to say i won the war though!!!

Apparently if you spray chestnut essence at your door and window openings it puts them off. But they do like eating flies & nasty things, so try to let a few stay - spiders are the sign of a healthy home, so that's a good thing for you!

You can buy an insect lacquer ( Deathlac) that you spray onto hard surfaces, door and window frames. As the spider walks over it, the poison gets onto it's legs and kills it. It will also kill any other insect that walks over it. Remember to spray your air vents as well.

You can bomb your house, or like I do, keep an eye on them and let them eat any bugs that they can. Keep them out of your bedroom by sweeping and vacuuming. Sleep tight and don't let the spiders bite. They are just trying to keep the insect world in check!

They're looking for somewhere to hibernate. In a week or so, you won't see them anymore. In the spring, the old ones will be eaten by their children.
