A confusing one. The class distinction is amazing. Also some things seem ancient and conservative and others ultra modern. Truly enjoyed getting to know a culture so different from my own.

I think that the British have a very nice, wonderful culture.
A part of their culture is helped mold many countries like the US and Canada.

I think the British are much like Canadians and Americans and other nationalities. They have many high tech stuff and learn teh same things in school.

I think the culture is good because the British aim for their people to know more than one language unlike in America when most peoplle only know one language.

I also think other attributes are intelligence. Brits are typically more intelligent I think.

The royal family also adds attributes. When Americans think of England, they think of the queen which in a way is kind of unfair but yeah.

I lived in England for a year, and here is my impression: English people are wonderful, funny, strong and caring. However, most Brits live on very little because the royals have all the money. I did notice a bit of an uprising growing among the younger Brits who do not feel the royals should continue to receive entitlements and that they should start paying taxes like everyone else. Well, no country is perfect, but ending the luxurious life of the royals would be an improvement I think!

Bad cooks, bad teeth. Generally a good nation that follows the rule of law. A conservative people but helpful to people in need. A dry sense of humor. A loyal allie to the United States and a team member in the defense of democracy. A sturdy and brave people that will do whatever it takes to defend themselves and their country. A nation with good music and fashion. A nation with a lot of good pubs to drink in and discuss topics of interest. A people that are a heck of a lot cleaner than the French. A very educated group of people. A nation that likes it's literature and theater and takes pride in both. A pleasant and caring nation. This is my opinion of the British from the viewpoint of an American that has visited the United Kingdom nine times.

I really don't know much about things like this, but I personally like the British. They have helped us, we have helped them. It is a win win relationship. I don't see the American culture will be the same without them. What does the British people think of Americans? I like alot of things about the British.

I think Austin Powers sums up the stereotype of a middle class professional males. Confident, full of Mo-Jo, and lived life to the full.

Austine got lots more sex and had to fight evil forces, but he was supported by british cars and technology and classy women.

Long live Austin and the image of the English.

Stereotypes include being proper, formal, terrible lovers, bad teeth, terrible cuisine, and awesome Chinese food (in London). Then again, every country has stereotypes. Living in the US, I can tell you that the "ugly American" stereotype is not that far off for the majority of Americans, but not all.
