How many people think you should pass a test or screening process to have children?

It seems to me that there are so many people having children that are not fit. What are your thoughts?

Totally agree 100% I would go a step further and only grant a licence for children if parents can show a fund large enough to support the unborn till they are 16.

While philosphically it sounds like a good idea, just think about it. The same stupid people who are having children, are also working for the government. The thought of some idiot with a power trip deciding who can and cannot have children , scares the crap out of me. Maybe they decide that your not rich enough, or smart enough etc. People who are horrible parents would probably still find a way to pass some sort of test. So NO, the government is involved in our lives to an insane degree already. Sad as it is, for the poor kids born to losers, its worse to have goverment interference. Just look at China.

You have to pass a written test and then prove your abilities in order to get a driver's license. It only seems reasonable you should have to prove you are intelligent enough to raise children. Instead, intelligent people are having only the children they can afford while stupid people are breeding like crazy.

yes i do a common sense test...like my child has a temp of 101 for 5 days, what should i do??? well call the doctor.....common sense i think is so important............
