No I don't think its we`ve become blase I think its because we are getting the same crap repeated or rehashed all the time.There are odd good programs but they are in the minority.

For the most part. This is why shock and porn are becoming leading suppliers of entertainment. Last year, porn produced 6000 videos - Hollywood 400.
People who enjoy classical music can listen to a particular piece over and over again. Technology and visual overload means few people are willing to watch Star Wars more than twice.
The inherent cure is fasting from violence/sexual come-ons and discernment, neither of which are taught or exampled in our culture.

yes i agree. i just stopped watching television all together. everything on there has no interest to me. when someone has the television on i will stop to watch for a couple minutes but only if it's the news, discovery channel or the food network. if it provides some kind of education then i dont mind but i rarely do watch.
