We usually work with speculations in the airline industry and we do our reviews quarterly, most of the airlines haven't done period May 2007 – August 2007. So you will find out that prices for that period are based on the actual flight costs not on any incentives.
E.g. period January 2007 - April 2007 average actual cost any airline
London - Nairobi is £845 but because of the reason mentioned above BA flights in February - March are all £270-00.

It's unlikely you'll find anything cheaper than around the £500 mark.
I flew from London Gatwick to Kenya (Mombasa) in August 2005 and paid £600 return (direct). My friends, who'd booked a month or two earlier, paid £500.
