I agree, society has gotten very lazy. I'm convinced it started with the telephone. What ever happened to good ol' fashion letters. Then there was the invention of light vs candles and cars vs your own two feet or a horse and cart. What about an elevator vs a set of stairs and oh my personal favorite. The automatic doors. Apparently these inventions were only made for the physically handicapped and not for convenience. I think Society has made most lazy. Especially the weak minded. Welfare is supposed to be there when you need to get on your feet so to speak. People misuse it because there is not stricter guidelines. Cut them off at a certain point or lesson it, so they need to find a job. Employment insurance is like that and we have to pay into that monthly in order to get it. Welfare is every hardworkin' tax payin' peoples money being thrown away. Not all the time, but a lot of the time. I used to work for a delivery business and on Welfare pay day we had many many many orders of fast food, booze, cigarettes, some groceries, mostly chips and junk. You get to the door and the babies are in very soiled diapers and cigarettes and music and the smell of booze hits your nose and your not sure whether to barf or cry. It's terrible. Long story, even longer... you are right except not all are fat... so mostly right.

your telling me I can do whatever I want to, yet in your other "questions" you tell me that you don't think I should be able to have an abortion if i want to. Your contradicting yourself a_s_s_hat.

Also for all these people you are yelling at, I would think a percentage of them would be girls who didn't have abortions even though they couldn;t afford their babies, either emotionally or financially. lets all remember here abortion is a right in this country. And legally to a certain fetal age, a woman needs no excuse to have one.

You are pro-life, we got that loud and clear. So first your yelling at these girls to not have abortions. Now your screaming at them because they can't afford this baby and need help from the government.

Your an idiot.

I do not expect society to do a darn thing for me. I do expect the government agencies that I pay taxes to to do what is right for my community.
There are some though who cannot take good care of themselves and as decent people, we should see that these people get the help they require.

This is one of the great problems with society, society expects you to do. If you do not "do" all the time then you are worthless. Leaching off of society is "doing" in a negative, contributing to society is "doing" in a positive. But what we forget to do is just "BE". We need to learn how to be present, enjoying the now.

Who are you talking to? I don't know too many people who walk around expecting the world to work for them. This is yahoo answers, not Yahoo Rhetorical Questions.

if by "society" you mean "government" like the government that I pay taxes to... then yes, I can feel free to expect what I want.. as I am a hard working, tax paying and generally law-abiding citizen.
