birth control would be a great idea and you shouldn't need condoms if she takes her pills correctly- and if you both are faithful (therefore illiminating std risk) as far as a good one... it all depends. She should talk to her obgyn about it and the two of them can make the best decision for her.

Good luck with your life together marriage is truely a blessing- soemtime is in a hidious disguise.

There really are several options. Personally, I like the pill. I'm used to taking it (many years now) and I have no side effects. I take the active pills all the time and don't even bother having periods that way. An IUD is an option as well. There are birth control patches that a woman can wear on her skin and switch out weekly too. There are also strips that go under the skin and inserts that go around the cervix - all variations on the same theme as the pill.

Typical male. You only care about your own pleasure. For your information, the birth control causes a lot of unpleasant side effects for a lot of women - headaches, weight gain, breast pain, nausea. Heaven forbid that you should lose that skin to skin sensation though. Maybe you should just get a vasectomy, and then have it reversed when you finally want a child. Or is that too much of a burden on your shoulders?

i'm on the hormonal shots myself and i think that it's wonderful... this is the second time that i've been on it. however with all shots or implants there are chances of sterilization also.... check out the side effects of each ... but it's more of the woman's choice than anything

The pill is good, but nothing is 100%. I got pregnant with an IUD and that is 99.9%.

I recommend the diaphram. It's used along with spermicide for that extra stopping power.

you and her should go and discuss options with her doctor, talk it over between the two of you and then decide together.
