Nope. Anyone can go on strike.

It does work better though, if you have someone striking with you. Like everyone in the union.

It also helps to have the legal protections given to union negotiations so your employer doesn't just fire you and hire someone else.

Laws that protect unions in collective bargaining are going away fast so if you want to start a union and strike, you'd better hurry. Pretty soon you'll be on your own. Even in a union.

Of course not. If you want to go on strike, you are free to do so. The only problem with doing that is by yourself, you don't have much bargaining power. The union that strikes usually does that only when they have the company by the nutts.

No, you can go on strike without a union, however I don't think you will get any farther the the unemployment with it.

No, but only people in a union have some legal protection or market clout when they do it.

Here in the US, yes. Otherwise it is called a walk out.
