If you are typing them in, you aint typing them right! Plain and simple! Do a search for the actual website and then add to favorites or copy the actual addy that shows in the address bar!

For Pete's sake, don't turn your firewall or antivirus off.

Several things come to mind:

1. Some sites require you to allow cookies. Go to Tools, Internet Options, Privacy. I have mine set to medium, to hopefully prevent smut.
2. Open your antivirus program and carefully review all tabs -- especially those that have to do with blocking. If you are not too well versed in this, I suggest you accept the defaults.
3. If the only message you get is "page unavailable," that suggests to me that the problem is not with you but with the site you are trying to reach. There are different times of the day when internet traffic is high and low. When the kids are in school and everyone else is working, traffic might be light. After school or after work hours, many others go online so movement is difficult. Holidays and weekends, prepare to wait.

What has changed since you have not been able to? Are you on a high speed connection? Have you power cycled your router, if you have one? Try this address and see if it work, enter it exactly as you see it in you address bar.

This is for google. See if you are able to access it when you enter that.

if you are using a router, i'd check the router settings. if that isnt it. i'd assume its your ISP[internet service provider].

Good Luck! ;]
