These jeans stand by themselves! I've washed them 10 times and the jeans are still too stiff to wear. Is there something I can wash them with that will take the starch out?

I worked at a cleaners once, and the only way I found to remove the starch was to keep washing and adding fabric softener and dry them in the dryer...
It may be the type of starch that they used in them....I have seen where it took many many many washing before they started getting soft, due to the type of starch someone used in them..

My suggestion would be to wash them in hot water with fabric softner in the wash cycle, and in the rinse cycle.....Just add fabric softner when you add your detergent in HOT water. For good measure, you could add a dryer sheet when you dry them as well. Hope this helps.
