My perfect president is neither liberal nor conservative. I think if you're too far to left or right you're going to fall over the edge. He/she should be bipartisan and be firm in foreign affairs. Not believe in government handouts but that government has a responsibility to help the poor people. Always be open to negotiation with diplomats and believes in tax cuts but is pro-choice. Cares for minorities but isn't that into affirmative action. Is concerned about space exploration, advancement of science, and not pander to the religious right.

a perfect president to me is someone who wants power and knows what they are doing. not like are so called president who thinks of what he wants and not what is best for the country i think the best president for all times will not be able it be beat George Washington.

My perfect president is someone who has rock solid convictions and who does not act hastily in response to public opinion, political opposition, or world opinion. I also like a man who is very patriotic and not to cerebral. A man who comfortable with himself and being around regular people. I want a very honest person who has deep moral convictions.
