muscat, oman . Oman is heaven on earth. oman has beautiful beaches, gorgeous oasis, beautiful sceneries and an ultimate shopping experience in qurum, muscat. you name a restaurant you like and u wud find it here u want name brand clothes u can get it here. it is considered to be one of the cleanest cities in the world after singapore. if u go to oman u will not regret it.

Depends on what you like. I like running around, seeing ancient things and beautiful scenery, so Italy was heaven to me!
I just read the answer from NorthMiamibeach below me and I am wondering why this person is being such a rude a**?
The question asked was general, true. But the UP side to a general question is that a lot of people reply and give their personal opinions. I thought the answers given here were more interesting than the people who constantly ask 'What is there to do in New York City?' and the replies are same ole/same ole.
For example, I never would have considered Muscat, Oman as a vacation destination! ;)

I live in South Africa and the Kruger national park is great we went 2 weeks ago and we were lucky saw the big 5 if you are coming down stay at the kruger for about 3 days and maybe go to Sun city and visit Cape town

Yeah, the world is such a small place, we all go to the same city, because we all have the same taste, amount of money , time and interests!

Try Jamaica its a great place to go. I spent two weeks there and had the best time of my life. There is lot to do. On Thursdays they have a steet market in Kingston, there is a state park near Ocho Rios ( not sure its spelled right ), and alot of beaches to go to. The food is also great. Its just a fun place.

It depends so much on what you want. Personally, I love Peru. Costa Rica is also a great place and has something to offer just about anyone. The people in both places are wonderful and friendly.

personally, i like the western coast of mexico..like puerto vallarta. it is nearby, inexpensive and a great place for the beach.
most of the resorts are fasntastic, right on the beach, near the town, filled with everything from shopping to a club-style night life. also, many resorts offer packages where your food is included in your stay (buffet style).

I would vote for Tahiti.
Stay in one of those grass hut hotel rooms that go out over the water (see link below)
That is a slice of heaven!
