Well apart from Cory Lidle, the only other baseball that comes to mind is Thurman Munson, the NY Yankees catcher, in 1979. His small plane he was piloting went down at the Akron/Canton Ohio airport.

Oh and Roberto Clemente, he was delivering aid to Nicaragua, however, I don't believe he was piloting the plane

Well, Thurmon Munson, also of the Yankees, and Roberto Clemente are the only 2 others I know of...

I can only think of two but who knows who was killed in aircrafts during the wars.
