Hi folks..I need some suggestions & tips!!.I should be moving to CHICAGO sometime in july'07.I have a diploma in Hospitality industry and currently working as a service admin &sales in the caribbean.Im kinda worried about getting a job when i get there.Is sales a good field or should i consider another field and concentrate on it??I would also be doing my associate's in accountancy or business adminstration in a month.How good are the job prospects once i complete it?Thanks for your time and inputs.

You would probably get more answers, and better ones, if you repost your question under the "Careers & Employment" forum.

Rather than a general question like "how can I prepare myself," you might get more responses from something like, "Job prospects in sccountancy or Business Admin?"

Same as the answer above.

Contact the companies which supply temporary help to businesses in Chicago and line up a job. Many, MANY companies use 'temp agencies' to test out a potential employee before they hire them. It's a good way to see if you like the employer, too.
