What is the best way to advertise Childcare Services?

I own a large in-home daycare and I have tryed the newpaper, signs and on-line. Help, what works?

Try word of mouth...get in good with talkative people that have kids & go to school functions, talk to the principal, meet parents at bus stops...have a business card ready!

Local radio and probably cheaper considering results .
