in the book I am reading "What to expect when you are expecting" it says that around 5-9 months you get those pain on the sides of your lower belly because of your belly getting bigger and your ligaments stretching to hold things better...I wouldnt worry about it..you can take tylenol...pop a tylenol, lay on your left side for awhile....with somthing on the underneath side of your belly to help support it and relax...it should stop soon..

It could be braxton hicks. You may want to get in to see your doc. Sometimes Braxton Hicks can hurt worse then the books let on. If you have suddenly gotten a bigger tummy it could also be the ligament pain. I had both with both of my pregnancies. As long as you aren't bleeding then you should be fine.
remember to go straight to the nearest hospital if you get Severe pain and it is accompanied by Bright red bleeding.

Might be false contractions - had that w/ three out of four of my children. Sometimes your body will .... "pretend" to go into labor but not BE in labor .... honestly that's what it sounds like, but I'd ask your OBGYN anyway just in case!

I remeber that!

your baby is just growing, thats all.

If your worried at all. just mention it at your next dr. visit. & if it seems to hurt really bad. call a nurse hotline or your dr. office.

but I think it's just your baby growing. if your just 22 weeks your baby is hitting a groth spurt now!
