From DWC magazine:

"Stuffing a duvet into its cover can be a real chore! You're crawling inside the cover, dragging the duvet with you. Then you try to push the corners of the duvet into the corners of the cover while you're kneeling on the duvet. Now you have to attach them somehow! What a hassle! Here's a terrific trick of the trade to help: Turn the duvet cover inside out. Place the duvet on top of the cover and attach its corners. Now turn the cover right-side out around the duvet and close the opening. It's so much easier and it doesn't even mess up your hair! "

Hope that proves to be easier for you! Good luck.

I actually have very good experience at this. The absolute best way is to open the duvet and stuff the comforter in. Grab the top two corners of the comforter, pull them up to the top two corners of the duvet and then hold them, one set of corners in each hand so that you are holding the top left corners of the duvet and comforter in your left hand and the top right corners of the duvet and comforter in your right hand. Then vigorously shake it so that the comforter straightens out inside the duvet. Zip or button the duvet closed and you are set for bed.

Yeah, those are rather pesky! Especially if the comforter is a bit larger than the duvet! I fold my comforter in half lengthwise, then half again width wise, insert into the duvet, then unfold while still in the duvet. Then I just adjust the edges and tuck in. There really is no best way to do this!

Sounds like you want to put a comforter into a comforter cover, or a duvet into a duvet cover. The way I do it is to grab one corner of the comforter, put the cover over that hand and push the corner up into the top corner of the cover. Then lay that down, go to the other side of the bed, and do the same with the other upper corner. Now standing at the bottom of the bed, hold both upper corners inside the cover, one in each hand and SHAKE, really hard. Most of the cover will fall down over the comforter. Now lay it down, reach under the bottom and grab the center of the cover at the bottom. (Mine have zippers; I made them myself.) Pull it down until you can fit the bottom corners into the corners of the cover, and zip it closed.

Turn the duvet inside out, put your arms inside the cover and find the corners. Grab the comforter corners through the corners of the cover and turn the whole thing inside out again. Match up the other two corners by tucking them into the duvet and do up the zipper. That's how I do it.

Get an active child, maybe 10 yrs old, to climb in and take the comforter with them and put it in the corners, you can be on the outside helping, but make it fun and a learning experience and it wont be such a chore!
